I grew up in the town of St. Helena, in the heart of the Napa Valley. I attended college for a year at Humboldt State University and then at Chico State University. While at Chico, I studied and helped to teach classes in the Outdoor Leadership and Education program. After college, I worked as a climbing guide in the Yosemite area, and I have worked at the Culinary Institute of America back in St. Helena, and as a private ski instructor and children's program director at Sugar Bowl on Donner Summit.

Donner Lake is now my home that I share with my wife, Jessica, and together we manage a very successful vacation rental. Truckee has become the perfect balance for me. The Truckee/Tahoe area offers abundant recreational opportunities in an alpine environment the whole year round, is large enough to have all the perks of a large town, and is small enough that running into people you know is commonplace and brings a smile to my face every day!

Coming from a small town, I understand the importance of professionalism, trust, ethics and follow-through in a working relationship. I perform very well under pressure and represent my clients with intelligence, creativity, and a positive approach to the buying and selling process. Friends and family appreciate my quick wit, sense of humor, and attention to detail. Having been in the Truckee area for eight years, I have an in-depth knowledge of the area from Lake Tahoe to Donner Summit.

When I am not working, I can be found downhill and telemark skiing in the winter time or out on a walk, bike ride, rock climbing, gardening, or out in my boat on Donner Lake during the summer time...with Jessica, of course.
